Peacefulstudioax provides repair services rather than physical products, so our return policy applies primarily to parts and components purchased separately. If you purchase replacement parts from us, you may return unused parts within 14 days of purchase, provided they are in original packaging and unused condition. Service fees for completed repairs are generally non-refundable, but we will address any concerns about workmanship under our warranty policy.

Return Costs

Return shipping costs for parts depend on the reason for return. If the part is defective or incorrect due to our error, Peacefulstudioax will cover return shipping costs. If you are returning a part for other reasons, you are responsible for return shipping expenses. We recommend using tracked shipping for returns to ensure safe delivery. Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Return Process

We will provide a return authorization and instructions for shipping the item back. Package the item securely in its original packaging if possible, and include all original documentation. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund or replacement within 5-7 business days.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned for health, safety, or practical reasons. Custom-ordered parts specifically manufactured for your appliance are non-returnable. Used or installed parts cannot be returned due to hygiene and safety concerns. Labor charges for completed repair work are non-refundable, though warranty coverage applies to workmanship issues. Consultation fees are non-refundable once the consultation has been provided.

General Legal Requirements

This return policy complies with New Zealand consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Guarantees Act and Fair Trading Act. Under these laws, you have rights regarding goods and services that are faulty, not fit for purpose, or not as described. Peacefulstudioax respects these legal protections and will work with you to resolve any legitimate concerns about our services or products.

Order Cancellation Policy

You may cancel a scheduled repair service up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time without penalty. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may incur a cancellation fee to cover scheduling costs. If you need to reschedule, contact us as soon as possible, and we will work to find an alternative time. Parts orders can be cancelled before shipment, and you will receive a full refund if cancellation occurs before processing.

Refund Procedure

Refunds for eligible returns will be processed to the original payment method used for purchase. Processing typically takes 5-7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item. You will receive email confirmation when your refund is processed. If you paid by cash or check, we will issue a refund check by mail, which may take additional time. Refund amounts will exclude original shipping costs unless the return is due to our error.

Warranty vs Return

Our warranty policy covers defects in parts and workmanship for completed repairs, which is separate from our return policy. Warranty claims do not require returning parts, as we will repair or replace defective work under warranty terms. If you have concerns about a repair, contact us immediately, and we will address the issue under our warranty coverage rather than requiring a return.
